276 patients transported by JSC Kazaviaspas in 2023

The helicopters of JSC Kazaviaspas of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies transported successfully 276 people in 2023, having provided them with vital help and emergency medical evacuation in critical situations, Kazinform News Agency reports.

A team of rescuers together with the medical staff consulted 12 patients and carried out 21 surgeries, providing timely and high-quality medical support. 49 people have been successfully evacuated from the emergency zones, the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies says.

This emphasizes the importance of the Ministry of Emergency aviation in ensuring safety and medical asisstance in the territory of Kazakhstan. Kazaviaspas is proud to serve the public and carry out its important mission in providing medical care and saving lives, Director General of Kazaviaspas Daulet Mamekov says.

The fleet of JSC Kazaviaspas consists of 30 aircraft, which carried out 2,305 flights last year (approximately 5,500 flying hours).

The aircraft of the Ministry of Emergencies carry humanitarian aid, rescue teams and special equipment to emergency zones. The aircraft are also involved in aerial reconnaissance, assessment of flood and ice situation, carrying out recovery works after an emergency, rescuing fishermen and extinguishing wildfires. Kazaviaspas aircraft also transport medical staff to the patients in need of medical care and transport patients from remote villages to the regional and national health institutions for specialized treatment.
