This came during the AI Safety Summit, held in Bletchley Park, North West London, with a big international presence, including President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, several ministers and senior officials of specialized institutions in technology and AI from various countries.

The United Kingdom, the United States, the European Union and China have agreed to cooperate to ensure the safe use and deployment of AI technologies in a safe and responsible manner, given the potential catastrophic risks and unintended consequences that such technology may pose on humanity.

The summit identified an agenda of three key points: identifying risks, building risk-based policies in different countries, and supporting an international network of research on the safety of AI.

The declaration is a new step towards enhancing cooperation among various stakeholders in the development and use of modern technologies, and calls for sharing and providing transparency and accountability in the field of AI while focusing on the importance of joint action for the common good and minimizing risk.
