3,000 people died in road accidents in Kazakhstan in 2013
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - More than 3,000 people, including 273 children, died in road accidents across Kazakhstan in 2013, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reports.

In 2013, the number of car crashes increased by 65% and amounted to nearly 23,000 cases. As a result of those fatal accidents, more than 3 thousand people, including 273 children, died, 33,000 adults and 5,000 kids were injured. The highest number of road accidents occurred in Almaty city, South Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Almaty regions.
