3.9-magnitude quake hits Almaty region

ASTANA. December 23. KAZINFORM An earthquake measured at a magnitude of 3.9 occurred 162 km north of Almaty and 77 km south-west of Taldykorgan at 9:02 pm Astana time, the Kazakhstan National Data Center reports.

Coordinates of the epicenter: 44.63 degrees north latitude, 77.57 degrees east longitude.
