3-day weather forecast issued for 3 major Kazakh cities
The National Met Office Kazhydromet has issued the 3-day weather forecast for the Kazakhstan’s three major cities – Astana, Almaty and Shymkent, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Kazakh capital Astana is to see February 4 partly cloudy skies and no precipitation. The city is to brace for fog in the nighttime and morning as well as black ice. 3-8mps southeasterly wind is in place for the city. Temperatures are expected to stand at -12-14C in the nighttime and -2-4C in the daytime.
On February 5, 9-14mps northeasterly winds are to lead to daytime temperatures to drop to -6-8C, whereas night temperatures will range between -11 and -13C.
Partly cloudy skies, light snow and drifting snow are predicted for Astana on February 6. The city is to expect 9-14mps northeasterly wind as well as temperatures to be between -16 and -18C at night and -9 and -11C at daytime.
Kazakhstan’s Almaty city is to brace for partly cloudy skies and no precipitation on February 4-6. The city is to expect fog and icy roads in the nighttime and morning as well as 2-7mps easterly wind. Almaty is to see night temperatures at -9-11C and daytime temperatures as low as -2C.
Partly cloudy skies and no precipitation are expected in Shymkent on February 4. The city is to brace for 5-10mps southeasterly wind as well as -4-6C temperatures at night and +7-9C temperatures at daytime.
On February 5-6, Shymkent city is to expect 5-10mps easterly wind as well as temperatures to be between -2 and -4C at night and as high as +9C at daytime.
