300 Kazakhstanis registered in Kyrgyzstan to vote in NPP construction referendum
A polling station will open at the Kazakh Embassy in Bishkek to cast ballots in the referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Chairman of the district election commission No. 396 Nurlan Gilmanov noted the high readiness of the polling station for the referendum slated for October 6.
300 Kazakhstanis were registered in Kyrgyzstan to vote in the referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant. Most of them are included in the consular register. The official website of the Kazakh Embassy in Kyrgyzstan informed voters on its accounts and social networks about the referendum. Kazakh students studying in Kyrgyzstan and nationals of Kazakhstan temporarily staying there were officially invited by phone to take part in the voting. The polling station is equipped with information stands and banners on the referendum, voting urns, and vote cabins.
The voting will begin at 07:00 am. and end at 08:00 pm local time at the Kazakh diplomatic mission on Aitmatov Str., 95 A.
