31,374 jobs created in Atyrau region since Jan 2024

31,374 jobs have been created in the region since the year beginning. 22,000 of them are permanent jobs. This is what Governor of Atyrau region Serik Shapkenov said at a briefing in the Central Communications Service today, Kazinform News Agency reports.

More than 49,000 people have been covered with employment measures in the region to date.

1,637 people underwent training under the Bastau-Business project.

822 families received social support, and 291 people got non-repayable grant to the amount of 428.1 million tenge.

“These measures allowed us to reduce unemployment in the region and improve social situation. As of November 11, 11,000 people have been released from the Bolashak Future Growth Project. Of them 4,000 or 37% are the residents of Atyrau region. Due to the completion of the project, 90% of those released were provided with social support measures. It should be noted that a group of employees are working now in oil and gas projects in Qatar,” said Shapkenov.
