33 projects worth KZT 2.9 bln realized in Zhambyl region

ZHAMBYL REGION. November 17. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ 33 projects worth KZT 2.9 bln are implemented in housing and utilities sphere in Zhambyl oblast within the Road Map Program. Head of the regional department for energy and utilities Yerik Kusherbayev said it adding that around 2, 117 people were planned to be employed.

According to Y. Kusherbayev 149 of 318 villages have centralized water supply system, 22 have decentralized water supply system and 10 villages still have to use water brought to them.

According to the available information 1, 432 km water pipes that are used in villages are worn out and obsolete. The projects of the Road Map Program are called on to solve the problem.
