330 schools to be connected to Starlink internet in Turkestan rgn

330 schools are set to be connected to SpaceX’s Starlink internet in Turkestan region, Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The region’s 330 schools are to be provided with the high-speed Starlink internet this year. 60 more schools are to be provided with fiber-optic networks as part of Kazakhtelecom’s Accessible Internet national project, the region's education department said. 

Turkestan region has 909 public schools, of which 530 have access to the internet at a speed of up to 20 Mbps via fiber-optic networks and 264 via wireless bridges.
