'KazMunaiGaz' plans to extract 22.4 mln tons of oil in 2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - "KazMunaiGaz" JSC plans to extract 22.4 million tons of oil this year, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Company Nurtas Shmanov said at the enlarged sitting of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.

"We expect that the volume of oil production will make 22.4 million tons in 2015. The volume of oil transported by the pipeline and sea will make 68.7 mln tons," N. Shmanov noted.

He also added that the volume of oil refinery increased by 1% up to 17.2 mln tons.

"This is the consolidated volume to be exact," N. Shmanov added.
