40 people drowned in E Kazakhstan since June

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Rescuers of East Kazakhstan region noted that from the beginning of bathing season 40 people drowned, according to the regional Emergency Department's twitter account.

Causes of deaths remain the same: swimming in unequipped places and alcoholic intoxication. Since the beginning of the swimming season 40 people 10 children have died from drowning, the statement reads.
