4th session of Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council kicks off in Bishkek

BISHKEK. November 1. KAZINFORM Today, prime ministers of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan Serik Akhmetov and Zhantoro Satybaldiyev have opened the 4th session of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Council in Bishkek.

In his opening remarks the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan noted the importance of commercial and economic cooperation with Kazakhstan and expressed confidence the coordinated decisions to be adopted at the session will benefit the both nations.

It is worth mentioning, the agenda of the session includes a wide array of issues, related to cooperation in economic sphere, industry, energy, agriculture, transport, etc.

The Kazakhstani delegation consists of reps of practically all ministries and agencies of the country, administration of Zhambyl region and JSC "KEGOC". The Protocol of the 4th session of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Intergovernmental Council and the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan are to be signed.
