5 000 people eligible for educational grants in medical universities ? Kazakh Minister of Healthcare

ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM /Kurmat Samarkhan/ Minister of Healthcare Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev has informed about gradual increase of students? admission to the medical universities at the meeting with the leaders of Students? Alliance, Kazinform correspondent reports.

?Ten years ago the number of grants for medical universities in the country was 1 050 while there are 5 000 grants in the current year. 5 500 grants are planned for 2010 and 6 000 ? for 2011 respectively?, Zh. Doskaliyev noted. ?The National Medical Holding created on the President?s initiative will be the example of tomorrow, as the Medical University of Astana city equipped with all necessary infrastructure for qualitative medical education entered the Holding?, the Head of the Ministry said.
