5,000 Shymkent kids attend private kindergartens under Balapan programme

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM About 5, 000 under-fives attend private kindergartens under the Balapan state programme in Shymkent city.

'98 private childcare centres participate in the state programme," head of the education department Zhanat Tajiyeva said. "This year we plan to allocate 2,000 places for kids to obtain a childcare at the private day-care facilities. Three kindergartens are expected to be built in 2014. Besides, it is planned to open mini-centres at two secondary schools. Five more childcare centres will open their doors this year with the support of the local entrepreneurs. Above 35,000 preschool children attend educational establishments of Shymkent offering early childhood education," she added.
