5,000 trees planted in Almaty during voluntary Saturday clean-up

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Today Almaty has held a voluntary Saturday clean-up.

More than 70 trees have been planted on the territory of the House of veterans under the leadership of Mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yessimov. Note that the litter pick has been attended by prominent people of Kazakhstan - intellectuals, public figures and athletes. "This year, the city's voluntary Saturday clean-up involved about 170 thousand people. There were planted more than five thousand trees," said the Mayor Mr.Yessimov.
