5.7-magnitude quake hits Papua New Guinea: USGS
WASHINGTON. November 1. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted New Britain region, Papua New Guinea, at 05:16 GMT on Monday, the second in the day, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said. kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 15.70 km, was initially determined to be at 6.56 degrees south latitude and 150.31 degrees east longitude.
There were no immediate reports of casualties and damage.
