5 kids suffered CO poisoning in Astana

ASTANA. December 9. KAZINFORM Five children and a woman survived carbon monoxide poisoning in Astana. One of the accidents occurred late at night on Wednesday and the other early Thursday morning, the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry said.

A 38-year-old woman with her three children aged 2, 12 and 15 were taken to hospital for CO poisoning caused by solid fuel furnace heating failure in a private house in Ondiris residential area.

The similar incident caused CO poisoning in a newborn and a 6-year-old child in Yessil district of Astana city. The children were taken to hospital.
