51 Kazakh sportsmen to compete for Youth Olympic Games title

ALMATY. KAZINFORM 51 Kazakhstani sportsmen will participate in the II Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China.

The youth games will bring together 3,500 athletes from 170 countries of the world to vie for 184 sets of medals in 26 sports events. The opening ceremony will take place on August 16. Last year Kazakhstan ranked 24th among 200 participating countries. 47 sportsmen who won 33 licenses in 20 sports events represented the country in the first youth games held in Singapore.
