54 shopping centers opened countrywide in Jan-Sep 2024

54 shopping centers with a total area of 110,700 square meters were commissioned in Kazakhstan during the period from January to September 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the National Statistics Bureau.

The cost of the commissioned projects is 48.1 billion tenge. Most of the shopping centers were opened in Turkistan region – 18, and Atyrau region – 6. One shopping center was opened in Mangistau region.

46 supermarkets covering the area of 26,9000 square meters and worth 12.5 billion tenge were opened countrywide in the reporting period. The majority of the supermarkets were inaugurated in Kyzylorda (16) and Turkistan regions (15).

On top of that, 158 minimarkets worth 11 billion tenge were commissioned in Kazakhstan in the mentioned period, on a total area of 27,100 square meters. Most of them are located in Turkistan (31), Zhambyl (22) and Akmola (21) regions.
