586 observers accredited for presidential elections in Kazakhstan
On April 10, the Central Election Commission adopted the resolution "On accreditation of observers of foreign countries and international organizations for the early presidential elections of in Kazakhstan scheduled for April 26, 2015". In accordance with the resolution, the Central Election Commission accredited 50 observers from three international organizations and four foreign countries upon the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. 37 of them are from the CIS mission, 2 of them are from the SCO mission, 4 - from the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States and 2 observers from Latvia, Romania and Ukraine and one from Estonia," the statement of the Commission reads.
"Besides, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan accredited 134 representatives of foreign mass media from 31 countries. In total, as of today, 586 observers from foreign countries and mass media representatives have been accredited," the press release specifies.
