6 investment projects to be launched in Karaganda region in 2015
"83 projects amounting to KZT 400 bln with creation of more than 9 thousand jobs have been included into the industrialization map of Karaganda region. Presently, 59 projects with the cost of 120 bln tenge have already been launched and they allowed to create 4500 jobs," he noted.
In 2014, 10 projects totaling 44 bln tenge were launched and 1200 jobs were created.
He also informed all the launched enterprises produced products totaling 73 bln tenge in 2014.
"This work still continues and it is not going to be stopped. Another 6 projects totaling about 50 bln tenge and creating about 600 jobs will be launched this year," N. Abdibekov told.
The sustainable development of the economy of the region is mostly ensured by the growth of the investment activity, the head of the region emphasized.
"Over 400 bln tenge was invested into the economy of the region in 2014. More than a half of the money, 221 bln tenge, was invested into the production sphere with an increase by 3.5% compared to the previous year. Besides, 114 bln tenge was invested into the processing industry with an increase by 5% compared to the previous year. It means that diversification is underway," the head of state added.
