60 kindergartens, 10 schools to be constructed in Astana
Construction of some 60 kindergartens is planned in the Kazakh capital, head of the city’s education office Kassymkhan Sengazyyev said Wednesday, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
He revealed that land plots for 10 out of 60 kindergartens had already been allotted. In his words, over 10 kindergartens are to undergo capital repair next year.
360 tutors from Astana-based kindergartens underwent refreshment courses and 1,062 kindergarten teachers upgraded their qualifications this year.
Sengazyyev also revealed that up to 80 billion tenge was earmarked from the republican budget to support local schools and their construction, compared to 20 billion tenge allotted in 2020.
Next year, according to him, the Kazakh Government will channel budgetary funds into construction of 10 more schools in the Kazakh capital.
