64 fishermen recued in Atyrau region

YRAU. November 9. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ 64 fishermen were rescued in Atyrau region.

As head of the emergencies department of Atyrau region Bolatbek Omarov informed, the fishermen's boats were frozen into the ice.

"During the day two helicopters delivered to the land 19 and 24 people. At the evening the helicopters delivered 21 more people. The total number is 64 people," B.Omarov said.

At least 100 people went to fish in coastal waters of the Caspian Sea and did not return to shore.
