74 observers accredited to monitor presidential elections in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. March 4. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Kazakh Central Election Commission has accredited 15 election observers to monitor the early presidential elections.
"We accredited 10 observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, 2 observers from the CSTO Assembly and 3 people from the Republic of Tajikistan," CEC member Tatyana Okhlopkova said.
She also added that these people would be issued special IDs.
According to her, totally 74 observers were accredited to monitor the elections. These are 44 observers from the ODIHR long-term observation mission, 17 observers from the CIS, 2 - from the International Republican Institute and 11 - from foreign states. The accreditation of observers will end on March 28, 2011.
