8 Kazakh boxers to fight in ASBC Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships 2023 semis

Semifinalists of the ASBC Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships 2023 underway in the Kazakh capital were announced, Kazinform cites the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Young Kazakh boxers demonstrated their skills in their respective quarterfinal bouts.

Kazakhstan’s Bexultan Boranbek eliminated Iraqi Abbas Fadhil 5:0 in the Light fly (48kg) fight.

Iraqi Abbas Qasim outclassed Kazakh Islam Mashkentayev 4:1 in the Fly (51 kg) semifinal.

Sento Ito from Japan was stronger than Kazakh Zhanseri Kosherbayev 5:2 in the Bantam (54kg) bout.

Turkmen Aziz Klychev stunned Bek Zholdasbek of Kazakhstan 4:3 in the Feather (57kg) semifinal.

Kazakhstani Bakhtiyar Anarbayev sent home Chen-Yu Tsai from Chinese Taipei 5:0 in the Light (60kg) fight.

Kazakh Sabyrkhan Torekhan defeated Uzbek Kakhramonjon Fozilov 5:0 in the (Light Welter (63.5 kg) semifinal bout, while Nurbek Mursal edged out Japanese Moeto Kawamura 5:0 in the Welter (67kg) semifinal.

Kazakhstan’s Islam Sovetov was better than Korean Park Gyubin 5:0 in the Light Middle (71kg) class fight.

Kazakhstan’s Aldiyar Abdillayev and Daulet Tulemissov outboxed Chen Sin-Hong and Yu Yi-Sheng from Chinese Taipei in the Middle (75kg) and the Light Heavy (80kg) bouts, respectively.

Kazakhstani Viktor Litvinov is expected to fight in the 92kg semifinal on November 1.
