80 tons of fuel oil of Kazakh humanitarian aid rendered to Tajikistan: Kazakh Ambassador
ASTANA. February 3. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador Abutalip Akhmetov met with Chairman of the Majlisi milli (National Assembly) of the Tajik Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly) Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev last week; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.
The chairman expressed gratitude to the Kazakh leadership for regular humanitarian aid, noting achievements of Kazakhstan which were recognized by the world community.
The Kazakh Ambassador, in his turn, noted that the first part of the Kazakh humanitarian aid to Tajikistan planned for 2009 was rendered in the form of 80 tons of fuel oil.
The sides paid special attention to the current state and prospects of the interparliamentary cooperation. They agreed to organize a visit of the Tajik deputies of the friendship group to Kazakhstan in 2009.
Within the meeting the Kazakh Ambassador offered to establish twin-city relations between Astana and Dushanbe. A.Akhmetov informed M.Ubaidulloyev of the measures taken by the Government on stabilization of economy in the world crisis.
