82 schools to be constructed in Kazakhstan this year - Zhumagulov

ASTANA. March 29. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ Within the state program of education development for 2011-2020 there are to be constructed 522 schools the countrywide.

Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov has announced it at today's governmental session.

As the Minister noted, today transition to a 12-year education adopted in the whole world. For these purposes 427 secondary schools, 46 profession-oriented and 49 schools will be built instead of three-shift and emergency ones.The total number will make 522 schools.

KZT 167.4 bln is to be provided for these purposes from the national budget for the first three years.

"The Ministry worked out in detail where and what schools will be constructed. With their launch we will solve the problems of need in school places, three-shift and emergency schools. 82 schools will be built this year," B.Zhumagulov resumed.
