868 observers accredited to monitor presidential elections in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. March 24. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ On the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan 328 more international observers were accredited to monitor the presidential elections in Kazakhstan. Representative of the Central Election Commission Tatyana Okhlopkova made it public at a regular sitting of the Commission on Thursday.
"213 observers represent the OSCE/ODIHR mission, 44 are from the CIS. 2 observers represent the SCO, 13 are from other international organizations, 56 - from foreign countries," Mrs. Okhlopkova said.
Totally, 868 observers from foreign states and international organizations have already been accredited.
