9 people were injured in a minivan accident in Zhambyl region

TARAZ. July 1. KAZINFORM Nine people were injured in a crash on Taraz-Assa highway in Zhambyl region Sunday night.

The police said the crash happened in the afternoon when a Mercedes Benz 312D minivan carrying nine people turned turtle. Four adults and five children got various injuries.

Three adult passengers and three children were taken to a local hospital in critical condition; other passengers were hospitalized as well.

It appeared that speeding was a factor in the crash. An investigation has been initiated.
