9 victims of Shymkent plane crash identified

ASTANA. December 28. KAZINFORM Medical examiners have already identified bodies of nine out of 27 victims of the deadly An-72 plane crash in Shymkent.

Representative of the General Prosecutor's Office Nurdaulet Suindikov told a Friday briefing.

In his words, nine bodies were identified by their relatives. They are Lieutenant Colonels A. Aitmanbetov, S. Dossybekov, A.Shukanov and V.Rakhman, Majors A.Ibrayev, O.Golubev and Senior Sergeant M.Konakbai, Sergeant G.Dolanbayeva and Junior Sergeant P.Vyazikov.

According to N. Suindikov, the specially formed panel completed the examination of the scene of the tragedy. Seven experts from Ukraine were invited to conduct investigation.
