90 rescued from snow jam in S Kazakhstan
ASTANA. December 19. KAZINFORM At the midnight of December 18-19 30 cars stuck in the snow jam on Shayan-Kazata-Agybet highway in South Kazakhstan region, the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry's press service said.
The South Kazakhstan region emergencies department rescued 40 people and took them to the near villages to be provided with housing and hot meal. No injured were reported.
At 2:50 am a passenger vehicle with 50 people on board broke down on the Shayan-Korgan highway. The regional emergencies department rescued the passengers and a driver and took them to Algabas village. No injured were reported.
