The analysis of the Unified National Testing shows low level of school graduates knowledge in math, chemistry, physics, world history and Kazakh literature. 14% of school graduates could not confirm excellent knowledge of all five subjects.

According to the Minister, the situation is explained by  low level of  teachers' professionalism, especially of the teachers of math, physics, informatics and English language. "The state exerts every effort for stimulating and support of teachers' work. For example, over 30% of the apartments allocated under the state program are meant for the workers of education", Tuimebayev highlighted.

"School students should direct their efforts for getting practical skills. Every school should create its internet portal and provide access to wideband internet for the development of the students' cognitive and creative abilities", he stressed.

The Minister also touched upon the problem of imperfection of the system of educational management which causes corruption crimes among the heads of pre-school institutions and schools.
