A number of documents signed following SEEC meeting
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan joined a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) in expanded format, Akorda reports.
Attending the meeting were also President Vladimir Putin of Russia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Sadyr Zhaparov of Kyrgyzstan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia (via videoconferencing), Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran Mohammad Atabak as well as Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez addressed a video message to the meeting’s participants.
The meeting focused on the current issues of the work of the Eurasian Economic Union and prospects for further developing integration processes. Following the event, the delegation heads signed a number of documents.
As was earlier reported, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended a regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in narrow format, that took place in Leningrad Oblast, Russia.
The participants of the meeting discussed the key tasks and priority areas of further cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union as well as exchanged views on the current issues and certain practical aspects of the EAEU’s activities.
