A thief stealing donations arrested in Aktau

AKTAU. November 20. KAZINFORM Aktau police has arrested the thief who stole the box with donations for sickchildren two weeks ago from the counter of one of the shops. He is 15 years old.

Donations had been collected for the wards of public fund named "Health for Children" with registered 286 children, 80% of them are diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

The theft itself was recorded by a surveillance camera. A man in a light jacket for a few minutes was walking around the shop department with a mobile phone. And when the seller got distracted, the teenager quietly took the box and left. The young thief is awaiting a trial.

"The suspect was detained. The amount that he stole - 5,000 tenge - was returned", informed the head of the press service of the Internal Affairs in Mangistau region Alia Shermagambetova.
