Abai region boasts sustainable growth

Abai region was founded a year ago. Since that, the region has shown strong growth in most socioeconomic indicators. For the past 10 months salaries in the manufacturing and construction sectors also rose, Kazinform News Agency reports. 

The short-term economic indicator of Abai region made 107.5%, while countrywide it made 104.9%. Capital investments rose by 44.2% to reach 426.2 billion tenge. The most growth was seen in the sphere of construction by 141.1%, by 103% in domestic trade, and by 101.7% in agriculture, governor Nurlan Urankhayev told a press conference at the central communications service.

Since the beginning of the year, there were commissioned 233,800 square meters of housing which is 108% more than in the previous year which provided 2,433 families with new housing. The average monthly salary rose by 17.6% to stand at 292,800 tenge.
