Abai region to build 102 social facilities in 2024

Abai region will build 102 social facilities in 2024, of which 67 are healthcare facilities, head of the construction department of the region Aidyn Begimbekov said.

He said 102 social facilities, including 67 healthcare, 9 sports, and 3 cultural facilities will be built out of public funds this year.

A 300-bed children’s hospital, a 400-bed regional hospital, a regional blood centre, and polyclinics will be built in Semey attracting investors. The design and estimate documentation is being elaborated.

Besides, 6 small schools will be constructed this year to address the shortage of pupil's seats.
