Abel Sanchez: Golovkin to become one of the best middleweight champions in history
The trainer of the Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin Abel Sanchez believes that he is to become one of the greatest middleweight champions in history, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
"He is developing, in my opinion, into one of the best middleweight champions in history. And the reason why he is developing is that he is like a student in the gym. He is willing to try everything. With his extensive background he continues to develop what he already has," Sanchez told Allboxing.ru.
"It is not only pleasure, it's a reward to see his maturity fight after fight and if he continues and gets the fights that will motivate him he will get better," the trainer said of Golovkin's progress.
As reported earlier, Gennady Golovkin is set to fight against Curtis Stevens of the U.S. in New York on November 2.
