About 1,000 clinics need reconstruction ? Healthcare Minister

ASTANA. March 13. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ 931 healthcare units of Kazakhstan require reconstruction, Healthcare Minister Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev announced at the meeting on discussion of President Nursultan Nazarbayev?s Message to the people of Kazakhstan; Kazinform reports.

?In 2008 662 healthcare organizations underwent reconstruction. Nowadays 931 healthcare units of the country need repairing?, Doskaliyev said. According to him, as part of the actions on implementation of the President?s assignments, KZT 26.4 bln are envisaged for repair work this year. As a result 424 clinics, including 24 republican clinics, will be modified to meet the standards.
