About 2,000 Kazakhstani women do military service

ASTANA. KAZINFORM About 2,000 women serve in the internal troops of Kazakhstan, 200 of them hold military officer positions. They do active service at communications centres, go on sentry. The women are also engaged in military-medical, logistical, budgetary and financial provisions of the troops.

Commander-in-Chief of the Internal Troops of Kazakhstan Major-General Ruslan Zhaksylykov congratulated women on March 8th. He highlighted the important role of women in routine military service.
