About 3 000 objects adorned in Astana for Nauryz (Nowrus) celebration

ASTANA. March 19. KAZINFORM Light installations, concert programs and national cuisine will add to the special atmosphere of Nauryz (Nowruz) holiday celebration in Astana this year.

According to astana.kz website, even the architectural face of the city will be changed for the forthcoming holiday.

The Kazakh capital will be decorated with flags, light objects and colorful posters; in general, more than 3 000 objects are to be decorated prior to Nauryz (Nowruz) celebration.

Statues and compositions depicting the everyday life of Kazakh people were created by local designers and scattered around the city.

Squares, motorways, bridges and even fountains of Astana were adorned on the threshold of one of the most important holidays in Kazakhstan.
