About 30 Kazakhstanis wish to leave Gaza
ASTANA. January 12. KAZINFORM /Bauyrzhan Mukanov/ Six women and 24 children expressed wish to leave the Gaza Strip, official spokesperson of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Ashikbayev has told at a weekly briefing today, Kazinform correspondent reports.
?Six women, wives of Palestinians, and their 24 children are among those who wish to leave the Gaza Strip. But taking into account military operations, blocking the territory of the Gaza Strip we can not say exactly how many people can leave the conflict zone?, Y. Ashikbayev said.
?A family living on the territory of Gaza refused evacuation for valid reasons. To date seven persons: two women and five children have been evacuated?, Y. Ashikbayev noted.
In whole, according to the MFA's data, 16 Kazakhstanis and their children (57) are in the conflict zone at present.
With the aim of rendering help to the Kazakhstan citizens in Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs opened a ?hotline? at: 8(7172) 72-04-68 and 72-04-86.
