ASTANA. November 11. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ About KZT 61 bln is needed for development of the country's veterinary system. Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishbayev said it at the Government's telephone conference today.

According to him, each region and city needs a special enterprise with appropriate material-technical base. Establishment of such enterprise will require about KZT 35 bln investments, including KZT 24.5 bln from the local budget for purchase of offices and facilities and land parcels for their building.

Besides, as the Minister said, the national budget should provide KZT 8.5 bln for procurement of services from these enterprises on veterinary preventive measures against the highly dangerous infectious diseases and about KZT 2.4 bln for purchase of special transport for them.

A. Kurishbayev also pointed out importance of diagnostic study of animals' blood against highly dangerous infectious diseases which should be held twice a year. KZT 1.9 bln should be attracted for this purpose. 106 laboratories should be constructed. Around KZT 10 bln will be needed for this.
