Abu Dhabi Ports to develop large projects in Kazakhstan
The Head of State met with Managing Director and Abu Dhabi Ports Group CEO Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Akorda press service.
The sides debated prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation and development of agreements signed earlier in transport and logistics sector.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev hailed the Abu Dhabi Ports Group plans to build a number of large facilities in line with Kazakhstan’s strategic interests for the development of marine and port infrastructure on the Caspian Sea.
The Head of State stressed the development of transport infrastructure and transit corridors of great significance for ensuring sustainable economic growth and intensifying international trade.
In his turn, Al Shamisi thanked the Head of State for supporting the development of joint investment projects and briefed on mutually beneficial cooperation with the Samruk Kazyna Fund and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company.
Following the talks, the sides expressed confidence in the successful implementation of joint projects.
Earlier the Head of State received Masdar and ADNOC CEOs.
