Abubakir Nilibayev, famous poet and translator, dies at the age of 86
ALMATY. KAZINFORM - Abubakir Nilibayev, famous poet and translator, has died today at the age of 86. The funeral service will be held on March 9 in the city of Almaty.
Abubakir Nilibayev was born in 1928 in the village of Cherno- Irtyshsk in East Kazakhstan region. He graduated Zaisan Pedagogical College and Kazakh State University named after Kirov. A. Nilibayev is the author of a cycle of poems about Vladimir Lenin "Thus the future begins" and "The international" poem dedicated to the Paris Commune. He wrote poetry collections called "Aubakirov dynasty" (1964), "Morning breath" (1967), "Thus the future begins" ( 1970), "White deer" (1970), "Song-Flame" (1971), "The Quiet breeze" (1973), "Far and guiding" (1975). He translated "Prometheus Bound" wrote by Aeschylus into the Kazakh language.
