Additional 17 000 jobs in small and medium businesses in 2009 ? Akim Tasmagambetov

KAZINFORM Today Akim (Mayor) of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov held a meeting with the body of active functionaries of the city devoted to the measures on implementation of the President's assignments set forth n his Address to the Nation Through Crisis to Renovation and Prosperity, Astana akimat press service informed Kazinform.

?The President?s Message calls Kazakhstan citizens to unity and cohesion to meet the challenges of the global financial crisis?, I. Tasmagambetov noted in his speech. In this view the city administration was assigned several mid-term objectives which include preserving old and creating new jobs. ? Additional 17 000 citizens will be provided with jobs in the area of small and medium businesses in Astana this year?, the Akim said.
