Agency for Natural Monopolies Regulation brings to light growth of administrative spending in Temir Zholy system

KAZINFORM /Zauresh Balkenova / Last year the Agency for Natural Monopolies Regulation of Kazakhstan fixed the growth of administrative costs in rail, utility and navigation spheres. The head of the Agency Nurlan Aldabergenov said this on today?s collegium of NMRA, Kazinform reports.

?Growth of administrative costs of the National Enterprise ?Kazaironavigatsia? only within 1 year has made 67%; in JSC ?Zhambyl Electric Lines? - 22%, in JSC NC ?Kazakhstan Temir Zholy? - 14,4%, in 2007 -in 2008 году ? 10,7%, JSC ?International Airport of Astana? - 55%?, N.Aldabergenov reports. ?In current circumstances it is necessary to keep to the regime of austerity ? optimization of administrative costs?, the head of the Agency noted. According to him, new law and economic sanctions are aimed against such expenses. For example, last year AREM has taken steps to 2.8 times reduce of the maximal level of salary for top-management of some monopoly-companies with participation of the State? from 1 mln. 120 thousand tenge to 360 thousand tenge per month.
