Agip KCO to provide 7.5 thousand new working places: Prime Minister
ATYRAU. January 24. KAZINFORM /Andrey Sokolov/ Prime Minister Karim Massimov who is making a working visit to Atyrau oblast has participated in a conference on the measures of the local executive bodies on overcoming negative impact of the global financial crisis, Kazinform correspondent reports.
Akim (governor) of the region Bergey Ryskaliyev informed of signing of memorandums with all large domestic, joint and foreign companies. The heads of the companies assured they would bend every effort to avoid reduction of staff. In case of need the employees would be sent for re-training, they said.
Since February a part of Agip KCO staff will work under rotation system. This will allow to provide jobs for about 7.5 thousand workers and specialists from the companies working on construction of the second generation plant of Tengichevroil.
The Prime Minister charged the local authorities to implement rotation system in contractor organizations of Agip KCO as soon as possible to let the employees to start working on Feb 10.
