Agriculture workers honored with state awards in Kazakh capital
By a presidential order, a number of agricultural workers were presented with state awards, honoring their contribution to the domestic agro-industrial complex, infrastructure development of agriculture, Akorda reports.
In particular, the Kazakhstannyn Yenbek Yeri title and Otan Order was given to Gennady Zenchenko, Director General of the Zenchenko i K company.
A number of agriculture workers were awarded Barys Orders of 2nd and 3rd classes, Parasat and Qurmet Orders, Yenbek Danqy Order of 3rd class, as well as Yeren yenbegi ushin medal.
Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that the country managed to collect a record of 26.7 million tons of grain for the last 10 years. Tokayev added that Kazakhstan is to implement 180 industrial projects in 2024.
To note, the Kazakh capital of Astana hosted 1st Agriculture Workers’ Forum ahead of the Agricultural Worker, Food and Processing Industry’s Workers Day.
