Air Astana and Turkish Airlines up for signing code sharing Agr't

ALMATY. March 7. KAZINFORM Air Astana and Turkish Airlines have signed a letter of intent to enter into code sharing Agreement, the press service of Kazakh airline reports.

The parties have taken the first step toward full cooperation, which includes code sharing agreement on the routes served by both carriers between Kazakhstan and Turkey. The corresponding letter of intent was signed in Istanbul by the heads of both airlines.

"Our passengers will be able to plan their trips more flexibly, pick up more profitable connections with the joint flights, available through code sharing. This will allow our passengers to use the services of the two airlines, which were recognized by the Skytrax agency as the best airline in Europe and best airline in Central Asia and India," Air Astana President Peter Foster said.
