Air Astana launches Astana-Tashkent flight
The first flight took place on Saturday, May 12, 2012. In particular, about 70 people went from Tashkent to Astana. Flights will be operated twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday on a comfortable aircraft, "Embraer-190" (88 seats in economy class, nine - in business class).
"The airline continues the development of a regional route network, particularly in Central Asia," Air Astana regional manager for Uzbekistan Serik Rys-Uly said in an interview with the Kazinform correspondent.
Air Astana will provide passengers from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and other countries with a high level of service and safety, the ability to accumulate points via Nomad club bonus program and convenient connections to domestic and international destinations in Pavlodar, Kostanay, Atyrau, Novosibirsk and Beijing, the airline representative said.
